Someone posted this on facebook today, and thought it was hilarious. Needless to say, this person is chronically healthy.
I won’t even start with the term “meninist”. Seriously, is it 2004?
The last time I texted my mom that I was in the hospital was when my intestines had burst. She hopped on the next plane not knowing how my surgery would end.
Most mums will jump into action hearing their child needs to go to the hospital. So it’s tasteless already to play with their fears. If you’re the mom of someone who is chronically ill, you are already more worried, more aware of things, more scared, and more anxious. Doing something like this isn’t just unfunny, it’s just plain evil.
